Listening to renters helps us improve our housing services and better meet the needs of people living in public housing. The next Renter Survey will be carried out in early 2025.
About the survey
We regularly survey people living in public housing to better understand their views about their home, and our housing services. We also ask their for perceptions of health, safety, diversity and community connection.
The Renter Survey (formerly known as the Public Housing Resident Survey) is the largest survey of public housing renters in the country. It has been previously carried out in 2022, 2020 and 2019, with over 9,000 interviews conducted across the three surveys.
In early 2025. Homes Victoria will survey around 3,500 renters aged 18 and over who are living in public housing across Victoria.
