Your rent amount is reviewed twice a year.

Your weekly payment amount will stay the same between review dates if your household income goes up.

If your income goes down, you can apply to reduce your rent payments immediately.

Either way, it is important to let your local housing office know right away if your income changes.

Each review may change your future payment amount. If this happens, we will write to let you know your new rent amount.

There are four ways that you can pay: direct debit from your Centrelink payments, direct debit from your bank account, online through HousingVic online services and at the post office.

You need to pay your rent at least one week in advance.
